How to Make a Moana Paper Doll in 8 Easy Steps
Create your own Moana Paper Doll with this Moana paper doll printable that is sure to inspire creativity for your little prince or princess. There's just no telling how far they will go in their at-home adventures.
I'm sure it comes as no surprise that we are huge Disney fans. While I grew up watching the Wonderful World of Disney, my kids grew up watching Disney Junior.
Many of their first phrases and favorite characters came from those shows and the movies we watched together cuddled up on the couch.
Disney+ was never something we debated. I bought the three year plan before it even launched. As we were scrolling one day, I saw Moana and knew that we had to watch it!
Not only is it a powerful message of finding your purpose and staying your course, the songs are catchy and ones we keep going back to.
One of the things we love to do is find a craft or recipe that goes along with what we are watching.
We had so much fun creating a drive in to watch Mickey and the Roadster Racers. This Elena inspired breakfast treat was more like dessert and a delicious accompaniment as we watched the latest episode. The Puppy Dog Pals inspired creme brulee french toast was a treat that went along with that episode where Bingo and Rolly go to Paris to find french toast for Bob.
I knew we needed a craft to go along with the movie Moana!
The best part is that there is a traceable template that makes it super easy. The hardest parts are the hair and folding the accordion skirt.
If to want to make it easier, cut it to make fringe. I won't tell.
You could even make this Moana Paper Doll and bring her to Walt Disney World for Moana to sign while she's at either Epcot or Animal Kingdom!
Stuck inside on a rainy day, snow day, or hot day? You won't want to miss these Disney movie crafts that you can make while you are watching your favorites!

Instructions
- Select colored craft papers as per the colors of the skin tone, dress, and accessories of Moana.
Trace the body base from the Moana paper doll craft template on light brown colored paper, the dress patterns on cream or off-white papers, and the top patterns on different shades of red and orange papers; and the hair on dark brown colored paper.
Cut out the traced patterns. - Cut a slit along the marked lines on the hair pattern.
- Slide the top end of the head part through the slit from the bottom side of the hair.
Apply glue to fix the head and the hair together. - Take the 2 skirt patterns (rectangles) and attach the zigzag bordered piece along the top side of the other rectangle piece.
- Now fold this attached rectangle paper like an accordion to create small and even fringes.
- Attach the small patterns on the square cutouts to complete the top of the Moana paper doll.
- Attach the top on the top side of the body base pattern.
- Take the accordion folded pattern and bring its straight end to the width the same as the width of the body base and attach it right below the top pattern.
