Delicious 6 Ingredient Strawberry Salsa Recipe
Have too many strawberries and need a yummy strawberry recipe? Looking for a twist on a salsa recipe? This 6 ingredient strawberry salsa recipe is worth a try.
Strawberry picking is one of our favorite activities to do as a family. We've gone strawberry picking since the kids were babies.
If you go to a u-pick strawberry farm, you must know that your kids will eat more than will go in their bucket. It's a given. But who can blame them?!
Fresh strawberries are the best!
While we also like to grow them ourselves, if we want to make strawberry jam, mini-strawberry pies, slow cooker strawberry bread pudding, strawberry, and fresh berry popsicles, or any other recipes that require strawberries, we pick them at a local strawberry farm.
It's the perfect way to shop locally, help out a small business, and eat glorious strawberries.

Should I Use Conventional or Organic Strawberries?
It's important to note that strawberries and jalapenos are on the Dirty Dozen list. But organic foods aren't always in the budget or accessible.
If you do buy conventional, remember to wash your strawberries right before you use them and don't let them sit in the solution.
While we do try to buy organic when we can, it's okay to buy conventional.
Everything in moderation.
