Oatmeal is mild and soothing, perfect for those who have sensitive skin.
Mixed together with ground almonds, this scrub removes embedded dirt and helps prevent blackheads.
Oatmeal and Almond Facial Scrub
Facial Scrub Ingredients
1/4 c. old-fashioned oatmeal
1/4 c. almonds (sliced or whole, unsalted)
Facial Scrub Directions
Grind old-fashioned oatmeal and almonds.
I used a coffee grinder to finely grind the oatmeal and almonds. You could also use a blender, food processor or mortar and pestle.
Mix together ground ingredients and stir well.
Place in a clean, dry container.
When ready to use
Place about a teaspoon of the scrub in the palm of your hand and add enough water to make a soft paste.
Spread the mixture on your face and gently massage into the skin.
Rinse well with warm water.
Yield: 4 oz.
