Frozen Birthday Party-2

I received free products in order to host a Disney Side @Home Celebration. The opinions expressed here are my own.

Every day is a #disneyside day at our house. If you follow along on Instagram, that should come as no surprise to you. Common characters in our house include Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Miles from Tomorrowland, Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Sofia the First, Merida, Belle, Rapunzel, and Cinderella. More often than not you will also hear them singing “Let It Go”, theme songs to Sofia the First and Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and lately quoting the 7 D’s.

When I saw that applications had opened for hosting my very own Disney Side @Home Celebration, I scrambled to get to my laptop so I could fill out every detail. The opportunity to bring the magic of Disney Parks home and share with our friends was a dream come true.

DisneySide Home Celebration Frozen-2

The plan was to couple it with our oldest daughter’s birthday celebration since she requested a Frozen Birthday Party. Unfortunately, this cold and flu season has been horrendous. Our oldest son woke up with a fever the morning of his sister’s party. We wanted to share our Disney Side, not our germs, so we postponed the celebration by one week.

Everything works out in the end.

Pin the Nose on Olaf Disneyside-2

Party attendees enjoyed playing Pin the Nose on Olaf. Even the baby got in on the action {and note Miles from Tomorrowland among all the princesses. Haha!}. Because of the scheduling change, we were able to host a very special guest during our celebration. A certain auburn-headed ice sister made our daughter’s Disney Side birthday celebration even more special.

Story time with Anna Frozen Birthday-2

Everyone loved story time with this princess. They all joined in singing some of their favorite songs with her too.

Birthday Coronation Frozen disneyside-2

The Birthday Coronation for the Birthday Girl was a special treat. She is still talking about how excited she was to have her very own Coronation. That may or may not be a scene that she acts out often from the movie.

Each guest made either a crown or a snowman puppet. The girls loved getting to make their very own crown with jewels with a princess close by.

Our favorite bakery went above and beyond to go along with our theme. Aren’t these tiny gluten-free snowmen adorable? Olaf approves.

Everyone had a great time showing off their Disney Side during our Disney Side @Home Celebration. Thank you to Mom Select and Disney Parks for making my dream of hosting my own DisneySide Party, a reality.

It was magical.

It was! I was nervous. We had to reschedule due to sickness. Thankfully most people were able to attend. I think we all had fun!
