Family Time Summer Date Night

One of the things that I LOVE about Summer is the opportunity to have Family Date Nights. My husband has a crazy work schedule and doesn't usually get home until late in the evening. During the Summer, he still gets home late, but there is still sunlight. It provides the perfect opportunity to go outside as a family and spend time together. What do my children ask for all the time when this happens?
Ice Cream!
Our favorite place to get ice cream on our family date nights is Cold Stone Creamery. There is one not too far from our house. The kids love being able to pick out the toppings to have their custom Creationsâ„¢ mixed together on the granite stone. Cold Stone only uses high-quality ingredients to make their ice cream that is made fresh daily at each location.
The kids are pretty traditional in their choices. Vanilla with strawberries for them. I decided to try one of the new Summertime Creationsâ„¢, and I am so glad that I did! I got the Surrender to Strawberry, and let me tell you, it was delicious. I will definitely be getting that one next time too. My husband always gets chocolate. Anything chocolate.
We had so much fun sampling each other's choices and just being together.

Going out for ice cream is one of my favorite Date Night activities in the summer! I would probably go for the oreo double chocolate. We don’t have a Cold Stone Creamery nearby but the next time we are near one, I am going to have to stop and get one.
