What’s New At Not So Scary Halloween Party in 2025?
This year, you can meet Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse TOGETHER at Town Square Theater!!
You can also rediscover Storybook Circus, which has been transformed into a happy haunt for families with younger children.
Plus, have monstrous fun at ZOM-BEATZ BASH, a dance party inspired by the film ZOMBIES 4: Dawn of the Vampires! Have you watched Zombies 4 on Disney+ yet?
This year, you can expect even more fun than ever before with some familiar (and fiendish) faces surprising guests along the trails! I'm super excited they are adding characters to the treat trails!! In the past, this has only happened at Oogie Boogie.

I promise you that party nights go by quickly. You will want to decide what your main goals are before entering the gates. I always, ALWAYS, wish I could add on another party night. There just isn't enough time to get it all in!

Sample Schedule for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party
4-5 pm: Arrive and check in for Mickey's Not So Scary. Yes, the party officially starts at 7 pm. Trust me. Get your wristbands, grab your Mickey's Not So Scary Party Map, and don't forget to get your treat bag (or allergy treat bag!).
If you already have a day ticket or Annual Pass, skip the long check in line outside Magic Kingdom and use one of the check in locations inside the park.
5-7 pm: Grab a bite to eat, ride attractions with low wait times, and see if there is a specialty party snack you want before the lines start to get super long. Sometimes the party snacks aren't available yet. Check with a Cast Member.
7-7:45 pm: Check in with your group. Do they want to visit candy stations or attractions? This is a great time to do attractions with spooky party overlays. If no one wants to ride attractions, go to the candy stops as the lines typically move quickly during this time.
7:45 pm: This is a great time to grab a spot to watch the 8:15 Boo to You Parade! I've watched Boo to You in Frontierland and in front of Cinderella Castle. Frontierland tends to be less crowded. You also don't have to wait as long since it begins there. You can't beat Main Street USA viewing, but know that everyone else wants to watch from there too.
8:45-9:45 pm: Now is the time to check out the Cadaver Dans, see the roaming Villains, find the dance parties, and grab a Photopass shot! Unlike Disneyland, Photopass is NOT included with your ticket so you will have to purchase those pictures individually unless you have Memory Maker.
9:30-9:45 pm: Head to the front of Cinderella Castle to view the 10 pm fireworks. While some fireworks show you can watch from other areas inside the park, you want to be in front of the Castle for this one!
10:30-Midnight: Get a few more trick or treat stops in and meet Characters! You can also make your way to the Castle stage for Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. I usually wait to watch this at the latest show.
Midnight: Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular in front of Cinderella Castle.
I hope this schedule was helpful and you were able to do all the things you wanted!!

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Character Meet and Greets
One of my favorite things about MNSSHP is meeting the Characters!
Yes, I am completely awkward when it's my turn. I end up doing this weird thing when I talk with my shoulders and stumble over words, but it's worth it!

Best Spots to Watch Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade
One of the highlights of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is the Boo-to-You Parade. It’s a must-see, whether it’s your first time or your family has made it a tradition. Where you choose to watch can make a big difference, especially if you’re traveling with little ones or hoping for those iconic castle photos.
Here are some of the best spots around Magic Kingdom to take in all the spooky fun.
Frontierland
If you want to be among the very first to see the parade, head to Frontierland. The floats start here, so you’ll get the action right away and can hop back on rides like Big Thunder Mountain or Tiana’s Bayou Adventure as soon as the parade passes. This area usually feels a bit more relaxed than Main Street and makes it easier to grab snacks or drinks before showtime.
Main Street, U.S.A.
For that classic Disney moment, nothing beats Main Street with Cinderella Castle glowing in the background. It’s the most popular viewing area (and for good reason), but it also requires the longest wait—plan to stake out your spot 45 minutes to an hour early if you want front-row magic. The payoff? Stunning photos and the perfect backdrop for your memories.
Liberty Square
This is a nice middle-ground option. The parade flows through here after Frontierland and before reaching Main Street, so you’ll have a great view without the level of crowding you’ll find near the castle.
Between Haunted Mansion and Country Bear Jamboree
This stretch is a bit of a hidden gem. It’s less crowded than Main Street but still gives you great sightlines as the floats roll by.
Near the Flagpole on Main Street
If photos are your top priority, consider watching near the flagpole at the end of Main Street. You’ll catch the parade as it comes toward you, with the whole street glowing behind it—perfect for capturing those keepsake shots.
Extra Tips for Families
Go Early (or Late)
The first parade (around 8:15 PM) is ideal for families with young kids who might not make it to midnight. The second parade (around 11:15 PM) is usually less crowded, but keep in mind that the weather can sometimes affect the later showing.
Save Your Spot Comfortably
Bring a small blanket or towel to sit on if you’re planning to wait. It makes the pavement more comfortable and gives your kids a place to rest.
Be Flexible
Sometimes the “best” spot is simply the one where your kids are happiest. Don’t stress about the perfect backdrop—focus on choosing a spot that works for your family’s pace and energy level.
No matter where you choose to watch, the Boo-to-You Parade is one of those magical experiences that will stay with your family long after the pumpkins come down on Main Street.
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Dance Parties
Who doesn't love a good dance party?!
Love Disney Junior Characters? You can find Disney Junior characters at the Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jam. Kids of all ages love dancing with their favorite Disney Junior Characters throughout the night.
When I went with friends, we had a blast dancing with Mike Wazowski and Sulley in Tomorrowland at the Monstrous Scream-O-Ween Ball.
Don't miss Zombies, Cheerleaders, Werewolves, and Aliens dancing in Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe at the Zom-Beatz Bash. We typically skip this one because it's too loud for my kiddos who are sensitive to loud noises.
Trick-or-Treat Throughout the Park
From Main Street to Tomorrowland, you’ll find treat stations stocked with Halloween sweets and snacks—perfect for fueling up between rides and shows. Bring your candy bag (or pick one up at the party) and make your way from land to land to collect goodies as you go.
Allergy-Friendly Fun
If you have a food allergy, stop by and see a Cast Member to pick up a teal-colored treat bag. When you trick-or-treat with your teal bag, you’ll receive teal tokens instead of candy. Later in the evening, you can redeem those tokens at the Allergy-Friendly Centers for safe, special treats, so everyone gets to enjoy the fun!
Enjoy Mars Wrigley Treats
This year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is sponsored by Mars Wrigley, bringing even more sweetness to the night with their signature treats.
