You will feel like you escaped to the perfect sunset with the cool and calm feeling of a beach retreat. It is the perfect place for families of any size with their spacious two-bedroom suites in addition to their standard rooms.
I know that I said Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort was the best place for large families. While I do still love Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort, Universal’s Endless Summer Resort Dockside Inn and Suites took over the top spot for me.

Universal’s Endless Summer Resort is only 15 miles from Orlando International Airport and 10 miles from downtown Orlando.
It was the perfect place for our family of six to stay to celebrate our oldest daughter’s birthday for a staycation.
We loved the space in the two-bedroom suite as well as the Universal Orlando Resort hotel guest benefits!

Endless Summer Resort Dockside Inn and Suites features 2-bedroom suites that fit up to six people along with their standard rooms. Each room features beautiful details inspired by beach strolls at sunset and seaside escapes.
Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites features 2,800 rooms! However, due to Covid not all of those rooms are available. There are about 1,059 2-bedroom suites and 991 standard rooms available. Something for everyone!
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in public areas and guest rooms.
Forgot to buy tickets? No worries! There is a Universal Orlando Vacation Planning Center located in the lobby! Have tickets but want to add on a dining plan? They can help!

Dockside Inn and Suites has you covered when it comes to food offerings.
I was very impressed with their gluten-free options as well as the gluten-free grab-and-go section at Pier 8 Market. There was something for everyone!
Starbucks®, located in the lobby, was perfect for grabbing a quick breakfast and coffee before heading out to the Parks.
Want to stay in your room after a long day at the Parks? No problem! Fresh Pizza can be delivered straight to your room during limited hours.
Sunset Lounge is the perfect place to grab your favorite cocktail and craft beer.
Don’t miss Wave Makers Pool Bar and The Oasis Beach Bar located by the pools!
Things to Do at Universal’s Endless Summer Resort Dockside Inn and Suites
While I’m usually an on the go person who spends all day at the Parks, Universal’s Endless Summer Resort definitely made me want more resort days.
With two resort style pools, a kids’ splash area, and a fitness center, there was so much to do while also resting and relaxing.
Please note that there is a game room and usually poll-side activities, but those are not available at this time.
Health and Safety Measures at Universal Orlando Resort
Temperature checks are required upon arrival. Hotel guests are given a colored bracelet that is changed daily to indicate temps have already been taken. Guests with a temperature of 100.4º F or greater will not be admitted.
Social distancing markers are located throughout the Parks to serve as a reminder to keep at least 6 feet between your party and others.
Guests are required to wear a face covering during their visit.
Handwashing with soap and water often is encouraged.
Universal Orlando Resort is limiting capacity at attractions and inside restaurants to help ensure social distancing.
Team Members are continuously and throughly cleaning and disinfecting all tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces.
Hand sanitizer is provided to guests before each attraction.
Contactless payment is available at select locations.

Here’s what you need to know about health and safety measures at Endless Summer Resort Dockside.
Everyone is required to wear approved face coverings in public areas.
Team Members and Vendors are required to have temperature checks upon arrival. Those with temperatures registering 100.4º or higher are not permitted to work.
Guests are asked to self-screen for symptoms and quarantine orders before arriving at the resort.
Upon arrival and return, guests will have their temperature checked unless previously checked at the hotel that day before boarding the resort transportation system.
Hand sanitizer is available in public areas and elevator landing areas.
Only EPA-approved cleaner and disinfectant are used to clean guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public areas.All guest rooms will be serviced after checkout. When possible, guest rooms will be left vacant for 24-48 hours upon checkout, before thoroughly cleaning and checking in a new guest.
Frequent cleaning of high-touch areas such as telephones, remote controls, door handles, light switches, elevators, and tabletops.
Several contactless experiences for guests, including hotel texting-services, express checkout, contactless room deliveries and housekeeping service. This means that upon request, the hotel will deliver fresh towels, linens and bathroom amenities to your door.
The housekeeping team will not enter your guest room during your stay.
