I've heard of some people rubbing diluted grapefruit oil on the trouble areas. I've also heard of people putting the oil in capsules and taking it internally, but you would need to consult your doctor before doing that as grapefruit oil can interfere with other medications.

Thank you so much for this extensive list. However, I must caution folks that many, many experts in Essential Oils do NOT recommend ingesting any of the oils. While there are some proponents, and some EO companies even sell oils specifically for ingestion, the vast majority believe it is potentially more harmful than helpful. So do your own extensive research and make an informed decision. But please do not ingest oils without doing so.

I completely agree. Everyone has to research for themselves. It's not enough to simply go on what your upline or friend has told you.

Hi, Wanda! I've actually heard the opposite. That people have used grapefruit oil to promote hair growth. I don't have any scientific studies for either though. I do love Frankincense in my facial lotion!

Hi! I'm new to essential oils. For the Kidneys, when it says "diluted" does that mean combined with coconut oil?
