Essential Ingredients for the Perfect Soup
1 lb ground beef chuck
1 container of beef broth
2 cans of diced tomatoes (or strained)
1 can kernel corn, drained
1 can of green beans, drained
1 pinch sage
4 carrots, diced
4 medium potatoes, halved and quartered (or whatever size you prefer)
1/2 onion, diced
1 stalk celery, diced
2 cloves of minced garlic for added depth of flavor.

Once the beef is browned, add the rest of the veggies, allowing them to soften slightly before pouring in the beef broth.
Directions
Saute onion, celery, and carrots in a tablespoon of butter. Cook until onions are translucent.

Next, cook the ground beef until it’s browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. This step is crucial to ensure the meat is well integrated into the soup.
Cook the vegetable beef soup for a couple of hours on low heat to allow all the flavors to meld together.
This is perfect for making a crockpot vegetable beef soup. The longer it simmers, the better it tastes!

Check your soup periodically and add water, salt, and pepper as needed, especially if you notice that the potatoes have absorbed a lot of the liquid.
Pour in beef broth

Season the soup with salt and pepper to taste. Adding herbs and spices at this stage will allow their flavors to infuse the soup as it simmers.
