When it feels like the world is falling apart around us, it’s easy to give in to worry and fear. Here are 33 Scriptures to remember when you are anxious.
It’s easy to feel defeated and as though nothing else matters. But as believers in Jesus, we have hope. God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline.
Is the world ending? It might feel like it is, but we don’t know the answer to that.
Could this be the judgment of God? We don’t know the answer to that either.
While God is our judge, He is also a God of love. Instead of seeing this as judgment, see it as a chance to draw close to Him and do the work of the kingdom.
We no longer have the excuse of being busy. Now is the time to spend our days in prayer, reading the Bible, and being the light in our communities.
If you are scared and feeling alone, you are not alone. Read these Scriptures over and over again until you believe they are true. It might also help to listen to this playlist at some point during the day if you are feeling anxious.
I pray that His perfect peace will wash over you as you read His Word.
