Holiday Gift Guide with LeapFrog

As a LeapFrog Mom Ambassador, I receive products, promotional items and educational material to use and share about our experiences. However, all opinions are my own.

Christmas is fast approaching.

Do you have wish lists you are trying to buy from?

Are you waiting for wish lists?

Not sure what to get your children or grandchildren?

We recently received a huge box from LeapFrog as part of their LeapFrog Mom Squad campaign. My kids were thrilled to try out these toys and gadgets from LeapFrog. It was like Christmas morning at our house.

They were waiting semi-patiently as I opened the box.

Leap Frog Unboxing like Christmas Morning-2

If you are looking for gifts for children ages 2+ then this guide is for you.

The Number Lovin’ Oven and Scout’s Build & Discover Tool Set are geared towards ages 2+, while the LeapFrog epic is for ages 3 to 9. I will say though that our 19 month old LOVES the Number Lovin’ Oven. It’s her favorite toy. She plays with some aspect of it daily.

LeapFrog Number Lovin Oven Discover and Build Tool Set Epic-2

Our three year old enjoys playing with Scout’s Build & Discover Tool Set. It’s easy to take apart and build back together again the dog house using the five tools that are included- a hammer, ruler, saw, screwdriver, and wrench- and the voice commands of Scout. Thankfully there is a volume control and an off switch. Sometimes he enjoys playing with it without the sound.

Scout’s Build & Discover Tool Set builds foundational preschool skills while introducing toddlers to their first step-by-step building project. They learn the name of each tool and what it does. Following directions is key to building the doghouse correctly. Counting, measuring, and color matching are very important aspects of getting the job done.

Scouts Build and Discover Tool Set-2I thought that our 19 month old would play more with this, but our three year old loves it. He likes to pretend to build things, so this was perfect for him.

But don’t get me wrong, he also loves this little Number Lovin’ Oven. It is adorable watching him and his baby sister cooking meals for everyone in the family. Teamwork.

The Number Lovin’ Oven talks, sings, and helps toddlers enhance their counting skills with 30+ songs and phrases. There are so many possibilities with 16 fun ingredients and so many fun ways to learn and explore.

Number recognition, concepts of relative value, learning how to divide items into equal parts, and how many parts equal a whole, are just a few of the foundational math skills that your toddler will be learning with the Number Lovin’ Oven.

Already our three year old is singing along while his 19 month old sister dances to the music. They are learning how to share as well as important math skills. It’s a win-win.

Your little one will love this gift.

My older two were most excited about the next gadget that was in our box.

The LeapFrog Epic 7″ Android-based Kids Tablet 16GBHoliday Gift Guide with LeapFrog 2allows children ages 3 to 9 to explore, play, imagine, and create.

With it you can access LeapFrog exclusive content – including games, apps, and eBooks – as well as kid-friendly websites that the parents have approved. Stay in control with their LeapSearch Browser.

Parental Controls also allow parents to manage what, when, and how long each child plays on the tablet. Although you do have to watch them. A couple of times I saw one of my children going into another one’s profile because they had used up their time.

LeapFrog epic-2

The LeapFrog Epic includes a 7 inch screen, 16GB memory, Wi-Fi capabilities, 2MP camera, stylus (purchase extra. Trust me.), and 20+ apps.

We went through a rough two weeks with illnesses and yuckies in our house. I was super grateful for the LeapFrog Epic during those weeks. It allowed us to continue learning and homeschooling while I was tending to the sick and falling ill myself too.

The epic made learning fun.

Do you have any questions about the products featured? If these weren’t on your Christmas Wish List, they should be now. They will be huge hits!

They are in our house.
