I was super excited to hear that Sarah Mae and Sally Clarkson were teaming up to do a webinar on Discipleship and Discipline. Especially with three littles under age 5, I feel like I’m in the thick of both discipleship and discipline everyday. I wish I could say I’ve got it all figured out, but I don’t. Most days just leave me feeling desperate and praying that the Lord would do a work in their hearts despite my short comings.
I couldn’t watch the webinar when they first offered it. So I was super excited to learn that they recorded it so that moms can watch it when they have time. I love Sarah Mae and Sally Clarkson, but I wasn’t sure about the $17.99 price. But, after I saw everything that was included, I knew it would be worth it. Here’s what is included:

What do you think? Are you as excited as I am? You won’t be disappointed. I promise.
After reading the devotional for day one and following along with the video of Sally Clarkson, I was struck by two things: I’m a divided mom and I need to be cultivating a spirit of love and humility in my home. I have way too many irons in the fire right now. And my patience lately has shown that. I am cultivating a spirit in my home, but it is not love and humility.
If you think back over the events of today, or the last week, and you can relate, I encourage you to check out this webinar. You will not be disappointed. You can get it here.
Parenting a Wild One on day two was so what I needed to hear. Boy do I have a wild one. It is so challenging most days. I feel clueless most days as to how to parent exactly. Some days I feel like we are getting somewhere, and then something happens. God has mighty plans for this spirited one. I looked forward to watching how He writes their life story. I also want them to know that I am here for them. And the divided mom comes up again.
Do you have a spirited one that drives you crazy some days? Go watch the webinar now.
Day three was on discipline. It is so easy to get caught up in behavior correction. And while to some extent that is important. It’s the heart that really matters. We learned that in so many of my counseling classes, and yet, I usually tend to forget it in the moment. The Scripture that stood out to me the most was Ephesians 6:4, “Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” I can’t remember a time that my children have been angry after discipline, but there have definitely been times of frustration. This is definitely an area that I need to work on.
I was kind of sad we were already on day four. I would love to have Sarah Mae and Sally Clarkson on speed dial some days. The topic was Mothering in Freedom. Ladies, if you haven’t connected with any of the other days, that’s okay. But everyone needs to watch and listen to day four. It goes through the eBook Core Lies. There is so much stuff that clouds how we view life, our children, how we parent, how we relate to our spouses and others around us. This eBook is excellent.
Thank you for reading my thoughts on the Discipleship and Discipline webinar put on by Sarah Mae and Sally Clarkson. It was truly amazing. I needed this heart check and challenge. I don’t have to be a perfect Mommy, but I do need to be present and available.
What areas of motherhood do you find challenging?
How can I pray for you today?
