A Sense of The Resurrection: An Easy and Meaningful Way to Experience Easter This Year
Make the days leading up to Easter intentional as you teach your children about the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus with A Sense of the Resurrection.
Do you ever get to a holiday and wonder how in the world you got there?
Every year, the holidays sneak up on me. I have huge plans to be intentional and meaningful with activities leading up to Christmas and Easter, going beyond presents and Easter baskets, but then the day comes and I realize I didn't do much of anything. That probably has something to do with the ages of our children and the numerous days that leave me feeling overwhelmed. Just maybe.
An Intentional Easter with A Sense of the Resurrection
That's why I love how Truth in the Tinsel, which we used at Christmas, is set up. Amanda tells me exactly what I need and when I need it. My kids love the art activities, and they are learning the Truth that stays with them. There's just something about working with your hands while learning concepts that makes it stick. Not to mention my kids are little sponges. They absorb everything. Whether it's a Bible lesson or a show on television. I would much prefer the Bible lessons, but there are definitely days when they absorb more television than Scripture.
I am SO excited to tell you that Amanda did it again!
Amanda just released A Sense of the Resurrection: an Easter Experience for Families!! I can not wait to start this with our family.
There isn't a set schedule to follow, which is kind of nice. You can either do two activities per week and start next week or do one activity a day in the 12 days leading up to Easter. And there's this super cute pendant printable!!
But please don't think this eBook is all cutesy Easter activities. It's not. Easter isn't about white fluffy bunnies, decorated eggs, or candy. It's about Jesus. His death, burial, and RESURRECTION. It's not fluffy, feel good. It's about teaching our children the real meaning of Easter, or Resurrection Day. Deuteronomy 6:5-9 tells us,
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
That's exactly what A Sense of the Resurrection: an Easter Experience for Families will help us do as a family. It's not a one-and-done kind of activity. These activities will help cultivate conversations about faith, and truth, and ultimately point our children to Jesus.
If you decide to purchase the eBook for your family, I would LOVE for you to come back and tell us about your experience! We're not in this alone. Let's do this together.
