If it has been a while since visiting Walt Disney World Resort, you are in for a treat! 2019 has been full of new and exciting changes to the resort and more are in the works for 2020 and beyond. Whether you are at Walt Disney World for vacation or in Orlando and getting your Disney-fix, Disney Springs is always on the must-visit list. Here are some of the newest additions and what is coming to Disney Springs.

One of our favorite places to hang out and explore when not in Disney Parks is Disney Springs. There is so much to see, do, and buy while you’re there. Whether you’re hopping over for a quick bite to eat, meeting up with friends, or shopping, there is something for everyone.

The Newest Additions to Disney Springs

NBA Experience

A first-of-its-kind destination, the NBA experience invites fans of all ages to enter the world of professional basketball in an immersive and interactive two-story venue that celebrates the NBA and WNBA. With 13 basketball-themed activities, it’s the perfect place to experience the NBA like never before.

Instagram Walls

Keep an eye out for new Instagram Walls throughout Walt Disney World. The latest one is this cute one with Orange Bird.

What is to Come at Disney Springs

City Works Eatery & Pour House

City Works Eatery & Pour House will offer a massive draft selection of local, regional, and global craft brews with a constantly rotating draft list, complemented by classic American cuisine with a twist.

The 8,632 square foot restaurant will be located in the Disney Springs West Side, next to the NBA Experience. It will offer a retail space, expansive seating, high-definition TVs – including a 165-inch screen – and a 1,767 square foot patio. There will also be three full-service bars, two of which allow for covered, open-air dining alongside the patio.

Beatrix

Beatrix will offer health-conscious food and beverage options for appetites large and small. They will have an in-house bakery, full-service bar, and lounge featuring a mouthwatering menu. Their menu will include options such as gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian and kids’ selections to coffee, fresh-squeezed juice cocktails, beer, and wine. It will open in the former Bongos location.

Cirque du Soleil + Walt Disney World

The yet-to-be-named production, a collaboration between Cirque du Soleil, Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering will open for previews March 20, 2020. It will officially premiere on April 17, 2020. The much anticipated new show will combine Disney animation and heart with the unique artistry and theatrical sensibility of Cirque du Soleil. Tickets are on sale now.

Ron Jon Surf Shop

The 10,000 square-foot Ron Jon Surf Shop at Disney Springs located in Town Square will feature a wide assortment of casual apparel, surf-wear, beach accessories, and swimwear. It will also include surf and skate equipment, souvenirs and many other items perfectly suited for the casual beach lifestyle.

I hope you enjoyed a little sneak peek into what’s to come at Disney Springs! With the holidays quickly approaching, Christmas decorations will replace the Fall decor with Christmas trees and twinkling lights. I’m hoping they will bring back the Christmas Tree Trail and Santa’s Chalet
