The Ultimate Book List for Children
Instilling a love for learning starts when they are little. For us, it starts with reading. As they get older it turns into open-ended and imaginative play. Curling up on the couch together listening to stories and looking at pictures. Soon it will look different as my oldest is learning to read.
It all centers around the same thing though.
Books.
Books are a key part of our day. Sometimes they turn into lily pads that they have to hop on to cross the large river. Other times they transport us to distant lands. Books teach us about our bodies, our world, animals, and how things work.
There are so many options, sometimes it's hard to find just the right book for our little ones. That's why I created this list that's broken down into age groups. There is some overlap, and this list isn't exhaustive. It's a great place to start though!
