This post is brought to you by The Stork OTC and The Motherhood. All opinions are my own.

I remember it like it was yesterday.

The heartache.

The emotional roller coaster each and every month.

Feeling broken and alone.

Shattered dreams.

I wanted nothing more than to be a mommy. I had a plan. But every month passed and we waited. The months turned to years. Doctors visits. Tests. Ultrasounds. Everything turned up nothing. I was normal.

But I was broken.

Empty Arms, Brokenness, and Hope

It’s hard to live life every day knowing that there is something wrong with you that no one can fix because they don’t know what is wrong. I couldn’t take a pill and “boom” there’s a baby. Adoption was on our radar, but the cost was more than we could manage with both of us going to school.

I just wanted to carry a baby. I wanted the morning sickness. I wanted sleepless nights because I couldn’t get comfortable. I wanted a big belly. I wanted to feel the kicks of the baby growing inside of me. I just wanted a baby to fill my empty arms.

Weeks passed. Months passed. Years passed.

Nothing.

We moved to a new city and I lost my support system. No longer were we doing life together with our friends on a weekly basis. We really were alone.

I did a search for OB-GYNs in the area who specialized in infertility. It wasn’t something I wanted to do. Nor was I comfortable with it. It was embarrassing. Talking to a complete stranger about how we can’t get pregnant. Who really wants to do that?

Now you may not have to.

While I don’t want to give anyone false hope, I do want to offer one more option for couples struggling to get pregnant. I so wish this had been available when we were trying to get pregnant. This could have been so helpful in our struggle.

The Stork OTC By Rinovum

The Stork OTC by Rinovum is an at-home device that combines innovative technology with an established conception technique – cervical cap insemination—which helps with many common fertility difficulties. Couples finally have an easy, drug-free, economical conception aid they can use at home. The Stork OTC is a sensible first step before trying more costly, invasive procedures, delivering hope to millions of Americans struggling to conceive a child. Even better than that, The Stork OTC has been FDA approved for over-the-counter sales. No prescription is needed!

I’ll admit it looks a lot strange. But if The Stork OTC had been around when we couldn’t get pregnant, I would have tried it. I was desperate. The emotional roller coaster was unending. And this you can do together as a team. If you have gone through infertility or are going through it, you know. It’s hard. Infertility isn’t usually something that brings couples together. It wears you down.

You aren’t alone in this. A CDC study found 10.9% (6.7 million) of women ages 15-44 have impaired ability to get pregnant or carry a pregnancy to term. 1 in 6 couples are unable to conceive after 12 months of trying.* Couples can use The Stork OTC  to optimize their chances to conceive in whatever month they choose. Now you can purchase it online and in CVS/pharmacy stores.
