Disney Villains After Hours (with NEW Dates for 2020!!) – Perfect For Date Night
Disney Villains have been busy at Walt Disney World Resort with Disney Villains After Hours events. My boys have been talking about going since they learned about it, so when Disney Parks offered us media tickets, I knew exactly who I would take.
Have you ever attended a party or event at Walt Disney World?
They are seriously the best. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party was my first after-hours experience and I've raved about it ever since. The details are amazing and the whole experience is magical.
Getting to share the experience with my boys at an age they will remember, makes it even better. If fact, they are still talking about the event and how special it was to them.

The Perfect Mom-Son Date Night
Being a family of six, it's easy to overlook the children who aren't loud, spicy, or who don't need attention all the time. Spending one on one time with our kids, or in groups of two, allows for more focused conversation and quality time together.
As they get older, I have let them navigate life a little without being a helicopter mom. For Villains After Hours, I let them pick out their own costumes. I didn't tell them who they had to be or what things they could use. If they needed help, I helped, but for the most part, it was all them.
Then, at the after-hours event, the boys got to ride all the attractions we sometimes have to pass on because of time. Disney snacks are the best, and while I did limit them to one each, they loved not having to share with anyone else. They kept slipping their little hands into mine and thanking me for bringing them.
We had the best night spending time together in our magical place.

Who Is Disney's Villains After Hours For?
Everyone! Villains After Hours is perfect for the whole family.
My 7-year-old said his favorite part of the night was Villains Unite the Night at Cinderella Castle. Make sure you check the map to check the times of the shows! The 8-year-old loved the Disney Photopass Magic Shots. See the locations below. They wouldn't let me ride Space Mountain with the special Villains overlay, but we did ride Pirates of the Carribean with real pirates!
Is There Food at Disney Villains After Hours?
Always. There are fun themed Villains treats as well as complimentary sodas, water, popcorn, and ice cream treats.
Are Costumes Allowed?
Yes! It was fun to see all the costume ideas. Make sure you follow the costume guidelines though. I would hate for you to miss the party because you didn't read the rules.
My boys had the most fun choosing their own Disney-bounding outfits. Can you guess who they were? The answer will be at the bottom.
Are There Special Disney Photopass Magic Shots?
Absolutely! There are four Disney Photopass Magic Shots during Villains After Hours. I'm not sure if they move locations for each party. Here is where we found each picture:
In the circle in front of Cinderella Castle, you will find the Hades Magic Shot at Disney Villains After Hours.

Did you guess who the boys dressed up as? They went as The Evil Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb, and Pete, the nemesis of Mickey and Friends. Were you right? They absolutely loved it when people guessed who they were and got it right!
