cinnamon sticks

whole cloves

water

You can also add– ground nutmeg, star anise, sliced lemons

Christmas Ingredients-2

Throw all the ingredients in the pot. I usually fill the pot halfway with water. I don’t measure this recipe. Sorry. I know. I know. Some of you are giving me the stink eye. It will smell amazing regardless. Promise!

Simmer Christmas on the Stove-2

Simmer on the stove.

I usually start it on medium and turn it down once it starts to boil.

You could also (this is an affiliate link) consider purchasing a small crockpot to simmer this yummy smelling deliciousness.

DO NOT FORGET TO ADD WATER THROUGHOUT THE DAY.

It does smell amazing simmering on the stove.

It does not smell amazing BURNING on your stove.

I hope you love this simmering potpourri recipe as much as we do!

Enjoy!!
