SPRING BUCKET LIST ACTIVITIES  FOR KIDS

By: Whitney Cornelison | Simplifying Family

"Spring will come and so will happiness. Hold on. Life will get warmer." - Anita Krizzan

Grab your camera and your family. Get outside. Have fun exploring where you live with these fun Springtime activities for the whole family.

Jump in a puddle

1

Either find a puddle or make your own. Rainboots are strongly suggested. Have fun splashing in the puddles!

Make and wear your own Flower crown

2

Create your own flower crown by twisting stems and adding flowers. If you want a flower crown that lasts, consider buying fake flowers.

Plant seeds and Plants in Your Garden

3

There's something grounding about digging in the dirt and planting things. You could plant a pizza herb garden or a butterfly garden.

Find rocks and paint them

4

Flat rocks work best, but any rocks will do. You can paint rainbows, butterflies, and even ladybugs. Let your imagination soar.

Find a local farm and pick strawberries

5

You-Pick Strawberry Patches are the best. Usually, you can pick from conventional and organic patches.

Host an Outdoor Movie Night

6

These are so much fun! Set up the projector outside and stream the movie on a white sheet or wall. So easy!

Dig out the sidewalk chalk

7

Express your creative side with sidewalk chalk. Draw a family portrait, recreate a famous painting, create games. You make the rules.

Go outside and look at the stars

8

Either grab a star map or download the Skyview Lite app to check out the constellations around you.

Have a water balloon fight

9

Fill up the water balloons and have fun throwing them at each other. Make sure to pick up the little balloon pieces afterwards.

Make a duct tape tote bag

10

It's so fun to make and easier than you might think to make your own duct tape tote bag!
