We’ve all been there.
All morning we’ve been trying to pick up the house before heading out the door for a busy day of appointments and errands.
Laundry is done.
Dishes are in the dishwasher.
All the kids have clothes on.
Everyone is ready to go out the door when you look at the clock and realize it’s lunch time.
Ugh!
There is no time to get out everything you need for sandwiches. You need something quick, convenient, and substantial.
But what?! Everyone is waiting.
They are getting restless, and your to-do list is a mile long.
Never fear.
Jimmy Dean has done it again. Their Jimmy Dean Simple Scrambles are easy, convenient, and will get you out the door on time.
They were a HUGE hit at our house.
Convenient Lunchtime Solution for Busy Moms
Jimmy Dean Simple Scrambles can be found in the refrigerated meat aisle at Walmart. Don’t know where that is? It’s okay! Check next to the pre-cooked bacon. Still can’t find it? No worries! Find an employee and ask. The gentleman I asked said they could be in one of two places and they were in the first place we looked.
Jimmy Dean Simple Scrambles come in three different varieties:
- Meat Lovers
- Sausage
- Bacon
All three were big hits in our house. Some of my picky eaters were a little leery, but after everyone else loved them, they tried them and asked for more.
Easy and Convenient
Jimmy Dean Simple Scrambles are an easy and convenient lunchtime solution for busy moms. We’ve all served breakfast for dinner on busy nights when you just need to get food onto the table and into their bellies. Why not for lunch too?
Each container comes with eggs and a packet of cheese and the meat, whatever variety you bought.
It’s SO easy!
You shake the container of real eggs, and pour it into the container cup everything came in.
Put it in the microwave for 45 seconds to cook the eggs a little.
Then you carefully take out the cup and add the packet of cheese and meat.
Put the container back in the microwave for another 25-35 seconds and your lunch is done!
Let it sit for about a minute or until cool. Be careful getting it out of the microwave because it is HOT.
Then enjoy your quick and easy, delicious lunch that’s high in protein and low in carbs!
My kids sure did.
I loved the convenience of getting to throw away the dishes. If I had thought about it, I would have used plasticware after they cooled completely and I could have had a dish-free lunch!
