**Remember Megan who introduced you to the Roepnack Family yesterday? I asked her to come back and share a little about what she does and how we can purchase Christmas presents while blessing the Roepnack’s.**
Yesterday, I had the privilege of introducing Paul and Missy Roepnack to Beauty in the Mess. Now that you’ve already their story, and see what an amazing faith-in-action they have, it’s time to bless the socks off of them, and help get Haven and Aaron home!
It’s getting close to Christmas shopping time! What better way to get a head start on your gifts than to help poverty in India and orphans in China AT THE SAME TIME?
For the last two years, I’ve had the blessing and privilege to work with Ergon Handicrafts here in Jaipur, India. We have seven ladies that we have hired, taught skills, poured into, over the last two years. Ladies who have never been taught to read or write. Ladies who rarely leave the slum where they live. Some ladies with eight children, trying to feed all the mouths. Some ladies who’ve been married since their early teen years. No ladies who’ve ever had a job or income before.
The last two years, being given an opportunity at Ergon has grown these women in unimaginable ways. In confidence. In skill. In worth in their family. In faith. They have blossomed before our eyes. Our goal is to keep them working consistently, so they have an income that is reliable, predictable, dependable.
For the month of October, for every purchase made from Ergon Handicrafts, 30% of the price will go to the Roepnacks adoption fund. When checking out through Paypal, under the shipping address, simply choose “Add special instruction to seller” and enter “Roepnack Adoption.“
So hop on over to Ergon Handicrafts today, get a head start on Christmas shopping, bless the Roepnacks, and have a joyful day!
