Living in New England, I was introduced to the only coffee that really matters in life. Sure there are brands that attempt to sway your taste buds, but there is only one true brand.

The place where there is a secret code for ordering your coffee in four words or less. Seriously. Have you ever ordered coffee in New England? It’s enough to make your palms sweat. I made my husband order for me. I couldn’t handle the stress.

Now that we live in the South, I still get to partake in that yummy goodness. Although it is less stressful to order.

As we all know, motherhood is hard. Sure there are days that you want to bottle up the goodness and cherish those moments. Other days, you countdown the hours until bedtime and really just want to forget that day ever happened. On those days, Mommy needs a break. Sure I could lock myself in the bathroom and scroll through Facebook. But some days we just have to get out of the house.

On those days, which we all have, I load the kids in the van and drive to our nearest Dunkin’ Donuts. They have the DD Perks Reward Program that I can access on my smartphone. Then turn on a movie for the kids and enjoy my sweet deliciousness in a cup.
